OMG! I was tuning my radio presets today after getting a new battery and Who did I hear? Frteekin Don Geronimo! YES! Brilliant! I So missed Don. I listened for over 10 years daily to te Don & Mike Show They got me thru some of the most difficult times in my life and like a flash here he is again. Perfect timing as I just lost my father last week and have been dealing with all that goes with it.
The smile that was absent since hearing of my fathers death was once again back on my face. I remember Don saying he would not mind retiring in Sacto. I hope my ears did not decive me today. He is one hell of an intertainer and although i dig a bunch of shows out there. There was nobody that held my intrest like Don. I never even met him but i damn sure cried when Frita passed. I was proud when Bart went off to collage. It was a family I felt like I knew.
So good to hear you again Don.

excellent—-however, bring back mike omera, and speewack, and burbank—this formula made much money for radio, advertisers, and the talent. the original show format is still not broke, so dont let don do it alone, only to fail in rating after 6-12 months. remember the car the mustang in the 60′s, it sold great, then, they made a change to mustang II, it sold poorly, due to the major change in the body style, now in the 2000′s, they have re-introduced the original body style, and it is selling great.—-lesson to be learned RE the don and mike show, as oppossed to the don show.
